Firstly thank you for the question - At the start of the year I started a secondment as a Business Analyst so I have learnt a lot in the past year. I have learnt how big the business actually is and just how friendly people are within the Organisation. One lesson I've learnt is around work-life balance and this is in 2 parts. Within my new role it's very easy to finish for the day, get home and log back onto laptop and just finish that little bit of work but I'm always encouraged to take that time back when needed, which is really good and just shows the flexibility within my job role. The 2nd thing I've learnt is that if you have something happening outside of work, then being in work is the best place to be - First Central has Mental Health First aiders that are there to chat with and are a great help but so are all the other colleagues within First Central - everyone is happy to listen, be a shoulder to cry on OR just grab a coffee with.
In a nutshell, I have learnt that I have found a really great and caring company to work for.
