What a great question! I think the biggest challenge I've had in my role over the past 3 months is I've had to undertake a ISTQB (International software Testing Qualifications Board) course to become a Certified Tester at Foundation Level. This was a 3-day classroom course where I learnt a lot of testing techniques, Terminology and best practices. I now have to revise for an exam to obtain the qualification so you could say that the challenge is ongoing. I'm lucky that First Central have paid for the course which shows that they invest in their employees.
This is on top of other everyday challenges like deadlines and Sprint Goals (Goals that the team set out to achieve within the sprint, for example deliver a certain piece of work). These are the reasons I enjoy my role because I like to be busy and have achievable goals.
