We would absolutely consider it - we do have certain criteria around external learning, so it is something you'd need to discuss with your Line Manager. Generally, for external courses, you would need to have passed your probation before you can request to start a course and some questions to think about when putting in your request are things like: What will I gain out of the external course/qualification? Is it relevant to my job role? How will it enhance my growth and development? What will the benefit be to my current role and the business?
Our Careers Specialist here at First Central @Lauren M. is always looking to broaden the apprenticeship opportunities we offer, so it may well be possible to do it via the apprenticeship route.
